Ph changing

My ph was originally 7.4 until the past few days now its reading at 8.2. I am using well water with a ph of 7.4. I am using api master test kit.

What decor and substrate do you have? What are you running in your filter(s)? What do you add with PWC if anything?

I have sand with plastic plants. I use prime as a declorinator. My filter is a fluval c4, I am not adding anything extra to it.

What type of sand? Any rocks? Have you verified your test result again? Sorry for all the questions.

All purpose sand, no rocks. I have tested several times with the same result.

My tank is a bit cloudy and one of my cories isnt looking that great.
