So after a while all of my water parameters and everything stabilized and were fine. I tested my water today and all of a sudden my PH is down to 5.5!!!

Testing my water and doing a water change at this very moment so I'll post other parameters soon. Should I just be doing water changes to get this under control?

PH: 5.5
Ammonia: Next to no readings
Nitrites: <0.1
Nitrates: 20

I have no idea what's going on and I've only added two fish since last week when my readings were 0, 0, 5.

After doing my water change in the afternoon I tested for PH again this evening and got a reading of 7.0 I may have tested incorrectly or who knows... *shrugs*

Could be improper testing. Are you using strips or the chemical test? Are you using the same source of water. I hope it is not ro or distilled water.

I use drops for testing. I don't know what it was but probably like adding in too many drops or something like that. Regardless, it's alright now :)
