Hey Gang,

Well I am setting up the tank today but got a little lost when it came to the pH monitoring system.

I bought the Milwaukee portable pH meter sms122. There is one connected plug that has an outlet on the back side, I am guessing that is where I plug in the solenoid from the regulator. Then there is another plug which I am assuming controls the meter itself. And then there is the pH electrode. I read the calibration procedures and think I know how to do that, but my big questoin is does this electrode stay in the water all the time?

Any help would be helpful....

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

P.S. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

For everyone else

With the sms 122 the co2 regulator plug from the solenoid plugs into its powere source.
This turns off the solenoid and co2 once the set ph is reached as co2 will cause ph to drop.
