How to keep PH stable without chemicals? I have 29 cube w/ huge piece of driftwood, 6 Cory's, 10 threadfin rainbows, 2 gobies, 3 syno cats, Pleco. PH is a battle to keep above 6. I add neutral regulator at WC to raise to 6.5. The driftwood makes it acidic. Anything I can add to filter to raise naturally ??????? + water is always very cloudy Have Fluval 206

Could always try some crushed coral in the filter, I've heard that can help. Don't forget your driftwood will soon stop realising its tannins etc so wont turn the water acidic forever

I had a piece of wood that lowered the ph to about 6.4 but 2 months later and it doesn't have any effect on my ph now it stays around 7
