So you decided to put them with Rams afterall. At least your tank is nicely planted, which gives them the ability to hide if need be. So how are they getting along with the Rams?

Very well. the rams attacked them for about 10 mins when I put them in the tank then they fought back for 5 mins then it was all done. They stick to their hiding spot a lot and are very kind to the other fish. They dont bother the gouramies at all and the rams hide in the plants anyways but the others like the caves so territory is all worked out and did so quickly. I am just waiting for my 40 gallon to be 100% cycled then I will put the pair in their to be alone to breed. However I feel that they shouldn't leave this tank because I have really grown over a single day to really enjoy them. But I would love to breed them and know they will be much more successful in their very own aquarium.
