Very nice start! Not common at all to see actual female DGs. Nice fish.

Thanks !! I can't wait to get the rest of the fake plants out and a really cool background . I've also been looking for a nice floating plant for my bettas .. No luck yet ! Thanks for the picture attachment tip I'd tried doing it when I first joined but I think the system was having uploading problems . Now everyone can see my babys :)

A few more ..

I missed the betta.... how are they all getting along?

I've gotten a lot of warnings from fellow AA members but my crowntail male and turquoise female do excellent in my tank . No one shows anyone aggression . I think all the Bob Marley I play has turned my fish mellow .. Lol but seriously they all coexist beautifully !

It's a bumble bee goby . I have 5 of the little guys and I adore them ! My betta is the most social in my tank , he gives me a real show when I eat breakfast and watch them and at night he has a rock that he lays down , very strange but cute . If I get a picture of my female b I'll post her .

And how large do said bumble bee gobies get? And what size tank do said bumble bee gobies need? Lol I'm feeling MTS coming on lol...

Heres my female beta ! And another goby shot since you all love them so much . BbGobys are preferably BW but they were in Fw when I bought them and are doing excellent . So you might want to think and research on that before fellow members nip at your fins .

I did me some research lol. So as it turns out there's two types, one that thrives in brackish, but lives in fresh, and one that is strictly brackish. You have the one that lives in fresh. They prefer a Ph of 7.5-8.5 and kind of hard water. They are often territorial towards there own species and stay under 2 inches. About 2 is the max you could do in a 10 gallon IMO, but others have kept up to 5. There was a bunch of stuff on feeding them... They usually only eat live foods, but some can be swayed towards frozen, but almost never flake. Keeping them with female guppies is good because the fry are delicious! Lol. Bumblebee gobies are always changing territories as well... Man... I learned a lot from 4 articles! Lol.

Already did! Lol (see above) what do you feed yours?

Alot of people are saying they are hard to feed I've honestly never had one problem , the gobble up the flakes ( I sprinkle a pinch into the filter flow so they shoot straight to the bottom portion of the tank ) they also set the freeze dried bloodworms. I have two large books on aquariums which I use and it says that bb gobys are not only found in saltwater but also freshwater lakes . As long as the water is warm and on the harder side they will thrive .

Cool, I may give some a try.
