Plant Cleaner

I was reading an article on Discus which mentioned a product that cleans plants before putting new plants in a tank. Among other things it gets rid of the small snail often imported. I've searched Google and online product sites and not been able to find a product that cleans plants. Anyone have any experience with a product like this?

I'm sure some company dilutes it for you and sells it at 10x the price. Thats what seachem does with Excel after all

I've had mixed results with this, but it's entirely possible I'm doing something wrong (wrong ratio, too long of a dip, etc). I also think some plants might be more sensitive and react poorly. Hopefully you'll have better success than I.

Potassium permanganate works great. So well in fact that I'm sending it with plant orders that I ship out.
