Hello everyone,
Just a quick question on a light for my 60 gallon aquarium
I have a T8 power Glo light that came with the tank
And just by reading on the box it says:
20 watts
18000 k
60 lux
750 lumen
I know that this isn't the best light for plants but do you think that this will be decent enough for a large Anubias.
It's too big for my 20 gallon and I want to move it.
Thank you for your help!

Hello BL...

Anubias requires only subdued lighting, so give this light a try and see how it works. You can add a bit of plant fertilizer too and keep the water pure with large, frequent water changes. Dose the fertilizer according to instructions, but only when you change out the tank water. The plant will likely be fine.

I am growing anubias, and have under 13W cfls, and an old flourescent.

Anubias is really a great low-light plant. My anubias thrived with no ferts or anything. Just lights.
