Plastic plants?

My brother has left over plastic plants from his reptile cage, i was wondering if i could use them in my aquarium?

They should be fine, just rinse them off thoroughly in hot tap water! :)
 
I would actually boil them if they're not glued anywhere. make sure to kill any nasties that are left from the reptile's bacteria.
 
Give them a chlorine bath which will kill any residual nasties. A cup of bleach to 5 gal of water. Rinse well, put in another bucket of water and use declor.....add to tank 24 hours later just to make sure chlorine properties have dissipated.
 
They are brand new never used with the reptile i washed them with hot water and let them dry over night, should i still wash with chlorine?
