Platies or Swordtails

Hello group:

Quick question.... Should I go with platties or swordtails for my next fish. I currently have a 55 gal setup with a fair amount of plants. I also have 2 dwarf gouramis, 5 white clouds, and 2 ottos. After the platies or sword tails I would like to introduce some corries and maybe 2 more ottos.

Let me know which would be better and how many you would suggest.

I wouldnt mind breeding these fish if all possible.

They're both equally good fish I think. I prefer Platies but for no other reason than the shape appeals to me more. Both fish are going to breed like crazy. That's pretty much what they do. Keep a 2.5:1 ratio of females to males. If there's only one male, I'd go with three females.

Great! This is what I was looking for. I was leaning more toward the platty side due to the size of them ( I think they are smaller).
