For my 75 gallon tank I bought Tetra water clarifier. It makes water really clear. But anyways I put the right dose in and now my water is cloudy! Like really cloudy, I did a 20 percent w/c and that helped a bit. Do you think it takes a while to clarify the water?

I'm not sure why it got cloudy, hopefully someone else knows what happened. I just want to say I don't put anything in my water except prime.. (except medication, once)

How often are you doing PWCs ? Are you gravel vacuuming ?

Cloudy water can be from a lot of things. Clarifier only helps with certain sized particles.

What are your water tests showing ?

Im doing 20% water changes every 3 days for the baby Oscar. The water is now clear because the filter and the PWC helped
