My tank is being over ran with red spots.
At first I thought it was good and let it go.

A store pro told me its freshwater coral and it's good. I found no information to support that.

its 2 years later and i want to solve this issue. Good or bad ? What action is required?

New info is it may be red diatom algea
another is cyano bacteria.

I have attached a picture. Any advice is greatly appreciated and thank you.

Yw! If you go the algae eater route, make sure you research the fish. Alot of plecos get huge and don't eat much algae. Some of the smaller ones in adulthood don't eat much algae either. Make sure you don't listen to that "pro", lol
