okay so I just got finished with a partial water change and for some reason my hand hurts like a mother and it's all swollen. I did touch a few fish in the process on accident so do I need to go to a doctor or something?

You could be having an allergic reaction to something in the water, fish or chemicals. Did you try washing your hand off really well with soap and water? If that doesn't help, I would definitely check with a doctor ASAP !

I never knew this and I used to have 2. Probably good I never touched them ?

Rough lesson to learn when you keep catfish. If you actually got poked by the spine be sure to keep it clean they infect easily.
