Plec and wisteria

My Plec has started tearing up my live wisteria plants.

He won't touch any of the others just the wisteria. Is this normal?

I've had the plants for a while and now all of a sudden he is started tearing them up I have leaves, and stems floating every morning...

Soon I won't have any wisteria left.

do you have driftwood in the tank as well? if not i would recommend getting one. not only does it look good in the tank, it also distract the pleco from everything else.

He might be wanting more greens in it's diet. Do you feed any veggies like cooked, deshelled peas, or blanched zucchini or cucumber? Also what type pleco is it and how big is it?
