It this little guy or gal out of a tank filled with "common" plecos. His color was more on the reddish side. Guy was not happy I made him go crazy trying to catch him. Anyone have an idea?

I'm not sure :/ the extended nose reminds me off a royal pleco, could be that but hasn't got his colour yet, if it is then it was a good find :)
 
It's not a common, the tail is forked, could be a rusty pleco with the "reddish" colour but the colours in the pic don't match, but I have never seen a juvenile one so could be that. Has it got a white ring just before the tail?
 
I don't see any whit in him. He's still on the pale side from being in a new tank. Here are a few more pics. I'll pull out the digital camera later today. IPhone doesn't take great pics.
