I got 3 new plants for my aquarium today 2 are potted and I've never dealt with them before. Do I just burry them pot and all? Do root taps affect them? And what are they exactly? There was only a sign that said hedge Click image for larger version

The one with big green leaves is an Amazon sword, the red one I believe is red ludwigia, and the last one I haven't a clue.

The red one is alternanthera reineckii and the green one is bacopa, both are in emersed growth and will die back a bit while they transition to submerged growth.
