Power outage

Hi all, I lost power yesterday and have been trying to fix it today. My heater filter and lights all are out , but my question is will the fish be ok for a day without these or should I be panicking

wrap a towel around to keep in any heat to help hold temp ,
you could once in a while stir up the tank for circulation with out raising all the crap on the sand avoid feeding till power returns unless longer than 7 days
if your temp is low put in a zip lock with warm water to help raise the temp

Were expecting a blizzard here in CT with possible outages and this is all stuff I just came on to research. Never picked up a generator.... Or wood burner like one of us here wanted, we got a fence instead! Cause that will keep the cold out
