Purigen

Hey

I have an aqua 620 and am using the standard filter which is above the tank.

I bought 100ml seachem purigen today and placed in between the noodles and the carbon in the last slot if that makes sense:/

Is this the correct position??

You can use it in place of the carbon as its obsolete now you have purigen

I have an aquaclear filter. I took out the sponge and carbon (it only lasts for so long) and replaced it with (going from the bottom up) poly floss, purigen, and the noodles on top. I did a WC and cleaning yesterday. The poly floss was black from being in there for 7 days. The noodles were swished in old tank water and were clean, somewhat, and the purigen was so filthy!! Since I only have a 10 and a 20, I throw the old away. Easier to do that for me. What a difference!! I don't use carbon at all. Good luck!
