Purple algae growth

Hello, I’ve had my 150 gallon aquarium for over a year now and last week I cleaned the tank and put new filters also added some plants to it. There has been some new algae growth I haven’t seen before, I wanted to know if it is healthy for the fish!

Would black beard algae fit? I’ve had that get a purple tinge.

I'd say black beard as well. Algae is absolutely beneficial to the fish and tank as a whole! It hosts microfauna, scrubs nitrates and overall improves the health of the tank, it's just the eyes watching the tank it harms.
