Purple vampire crab

Hi everyone! We have a nice 125 gal. Aquarium with a community of fish mostlynranging from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inch. There is a large pleco, but most of the fish are small. My husband has a fascination with and love for crabs. Could we add a purple vampire crab to our aquarium without it eating or attacking our fish. If not, any suggestions for nice freshwater crabs?

Crabs are predatory so I wouldn't keep them with small fish.

You can add some shrimp or orange dwarf crayfish

With the purple vampire crabs, they require a terrarium setup. Think similar to salamanders. So to answer your question, unfortunately, you won't be able to keep them in your tank.
