OK..so I got a 20 gallon Qt tank 2 weeks ago.set it all up,seeded the new filter with old media frm my already established 125 g tank,added some gravel frm the old tank,decorations,etc...did the tests and its cycled.it is currently fishless.my question is..can I leave it fishless and maintain the cycle by adding ammonia or should I just keep one or two resident fish in there at all times?and if so what kind would u recommend for a 20 gallon w/sand?any advice will be greatly appreciated.ty..
