Hello, I am starting a 10 gallon planted tank soon. The fish I want to add are lyretail guppies (2), cardinal tetras (6), and maybe even yellow shrimp (5)
Can someone tell me if they are compatible?

I would go with neons instead of cardinals as they are smaller but other then that you should be fine along as the guppies are male

I agree with the neons instead of Cardinals. I would do 5 neons instead of 6. To cut down on your stocking. Then you should be good and all those fish are compatible.

1. Thank you for suggesting, but I prefer cardinals instead.

2. I guess I will not put yellow shrimp in my fish tank ○~○

Neons were suggested because they stay smaller than cardinals. A 10g is quite a small tank and has limited stocking capabilities.

I keep 3 10g with only one fish in them..

Bump it up to a 20g and I say have all the cardinals you want. :)

Your stocking plan is just fine. The cardinals will work well in a 10g.

It can work as long as you keep up on water changes. Neons would be the choice of the two tetras, Harlequin Rasboras would be a better choice.

Thank you for the advice :) I will try to see what I can do
