Question about Gravel to sand change

I recently bought some CaribSea eco complete cichlid mix. i Took out the gravel, rocks, and plants. I added the mix small amounts at a time. My question is how long will it take for the water to clear up, and should i leave my filters on?
Any help is appreciated

Yes leave the filter on, it might take a couple days to get completely clear.
