Is it better to leave the male in the tank with the females, and let the fry get eaten or just leave the male out of the tank so the females don't get pregnant consecutively? o.o

I would imagine if the females are pregnant all the time they will not live as long. As far as I know the females store sperm and will probably get pregnant on there own if they have been kept with a male. There is always the chance some fry will make it. I don't believe Mollys are that aggresive about eating there young.

But all in all I would keep them seperated.

I was just curious cuz I feel bad leaving my now one male in the cooler water cuz I only have 1 heater and I'm trying to save up to by that new 20 gal >_<

Yeah, the other problem is I have about 7 bachelor males in the same tank with him because I don't want inbreeding >_<
