Question about Tetra EasyBalance PLUS?

Hi all. I have a question about the Tetra EasyBalance PLUS product.
Right now, my tank is at a pH of 7.0. I would like to keep it that way. Would adding EasyBalance raise the pH?

I've never heard of this product, so looked it up. It reduces nitrogen. So do water changes. I say do the water changes and avoid any "miracle in a bottle". The people who use it are the lazy ones, who indicate that with this product they only have to do a water change every 6 months. That's ridiculous.

People who scored it low say it yellows your water and kills your fish.​
