Questionable Lighting Price?

At my LFS a coralife 55 watt 10,000k PC bulb is 44 dollars. What is the difference between that bulb and the 55 watt 10,000k PC bulbs sold over at AHSupply? Bulbs

the price. haha. Pet stores will always jack up the prices, especially if it's a more specialty item like a PC light

Petstores jack up everything. Online i got a UVB bulb for my lizard for 28 with shipping. At Petco it was 44.

Your profile says that you're in Ohio... am curious to know where you shopped. I've had much the same results. Recently had to pick up a replacement heater and the one I bought at Jacks Pets was more than twice the price on a popular online petstore. Will still go to Jacks for some stuff, like maybe another tank. After that I will be buying most supplies online, or at Wal-Mart, WM is good for stuff like decorations.
