Ok. I'm just going to start off with this: I'm sorry if you think this is a dumb question or "what fish owner doesn't know this already" but I'm still relatively new to some stuff in the aquarium world so bear with me!

Can someone explain tank cycling to me? Like the whole deal? I don't fully understand it.. ?
