Rams and live plants

I have an electric blue ram and a german blue ram. I was just wondering if these fish tend to eat live plants like other cichlids

I have had german gold rams in a heavily planted tank for a while with no problems. I would say they would be just fine, but I cannot say for sure, I have never come across anything that says they are not plant safe.

Like all fish they nip at them but not eat them i say you would be fine

They are the cichlid of choice for most planted tanks. Them and also angels/discus.

Rams dont generally eat live plants. Ive got 4 and none of them have eaten any of my plants.

I've never had any problems with them eating or damaging my plants in my discus tank.

Definitely plant friendly.
