Red Cherry Shrimp Substrate?

I discovered that Red Cherry Shrimp need sand or soil in the tank? Is this true?! I just posted an ad on Classifieds asking for RCS, so I need quick answers!!!

I use sand in my tank. You can use PFS or Blasting Sand. I cap mine with Tahitian Moon Sand.

Gravel is ok.

You must have live plants, they love Moss

+1 they love moss because they eat the micro organisms that are abundant in mosses good luck with your shrimp!
