Reinforcing 75 gal stand

Just bought a 75 gallon tank and stand. However the stand doesnít seem very supportive, and weighs considerably less than the tank itself, which is empty right now. Any suggestions about the best way to reinforce the stand?

Depends on the style and materials of the stand. Do you happen to have a picture of it?
