restraining order for fish...

o.k., this is nuts. i just stocked with four black skirt tetras about four days ago. one of them is always hanging out by my pleco or in this one little hidden spot he seems to like. we've started to notice that he is in love with my wife. when she walks by the tank he DARTS out from wherever he is and gets as close to her as possible! if she sits by the tank, he will stay in one spot and look directly at her for as long as she is there. when it's feeding time, if i feed he eats very little, but if she feeds them he will be very aggressive about getting all the food he can. should i be jealous? lol

my mollys are like that with my boyfriend. When he comes near the tank, they get all sorts of excited, swimming up and down the tank wall. When I come close, they are just like "eh, whatever".

Its ok though, the bettas like me better. They know who gives them their food

My mollies love my cat.... tell me if thats wierd.

Although they are fish that arent beautiful and they are filthy pigs, they have a very cool personality, and I love mollies. Unique fish IMO

My cat used to try to catch my bala shark, and he'd just taunt her, lol. Now that I got the bigger bala in there, she won't go near the tank, lol.

That rang a note of familiarity. When we decided to go with one Cichlid in our one 40 gallon tank the cat has stayed away ever since their first meeting, since the Cichlid is about a 1/3rd of the size as the cat.

I may need a restraining order as well. My tiger barbs won't leave the new bala alone.
