I came home today to find a dried out brichardi on the carpet  :drain:. She escaped through a very small hole where I used to have a second heater. Will the male brichardi ever find another mate? If I introduce another brichardi, will it eat all the babies?

I am so sorry!! That is such a shame. I don't believe he will eat the young ones, but to be safe, remove him from the tank. Do not introduce another brichardi until the babies are gone.

What horrible news! I know how bummed you must be :(

I agree with Menagerie, raise the babies and then start over, or get a new pair from your babies.
