Do rocks from outside adjust the ph a lot? Is there a way to tell if the rock you added, added to much ph?

It's high. It is slightly above the last mark on my tester kit which is about 7.6

You probably won't see much, if any, rise in pH from any rocks then. Most rocks only buffer to 7.8-8 anyways.
