Can u feed the rope fish freezdried bloodworms as a staple

And how can u tell the difference between a male and female rope fish

Rope fish might accept freeze dried food.

No, not as a staple. They are carnivores and will do better with feeder livebearers or frozen food such as brine shrimp. They will also eat ghost shrimp.

females have 9 spines on their back and males have 10-14. freeze dried blood worms wont work as a staple diet. i would suggest frozen foods, beef heart and earth worms
