So… been setting up new 10 gallon tank and I had a sponge filter getting seasoned in my 54 gallon. For good measure I also pulled out sponges from my canister filter and gave them a squeeze in small amount of water and dumped that in new tank as well. Was doing my best to avoid cycle headache in 10 gallon.. guess what? I forgot to plug back in my canister filter on my 54 gallon so it been off/not running for almost 2 days (insert facepalm emoji)

IMO as long are the tank was OK before the filter was turned off, you are most likely OK.
Just do a water test to make sure,
