are freshwater reticulated stingrays best kept by themselves or in groups? if in groups would I be ok with 2? also how about motoro stingrays

125 gallons deep And this is not their permanent home

I don't know a whole lot about rays but generally I see that their minimum is 300g so I would start off with one and get another after you get a bigger tank. I've seen some in stores with several in a tank but I know people keep them alone too.

My best friend has kept 2 reticulated rays in a 125 for almost 3 years now with no problems. They don't really mind being alone or in a group, they can be a bit nippy during mating season however

You should build an ocean and put this guy in it.

I just know their difficult to keep so whatever will increase my odds of them living. I think I'llget two.
