Is this true, that Rummynose are more sensitive than many other Tetras?
My lfs told me this when I said I might be ineterested in some.
She said they don't generally stock them because of their sensitivity, but she could ordeer me 25 for a good price.
Is this just a line, or do they tend to be more shipping sensitive.
I do generally trust this store, but not sure about this one.

Honestly I am not sure what they are telling you, rummynose are great for indicating issues with your tank. I have 6 in my 30 gallon right now and I've have had them since I stocked my tank. I would say if you can keep both ammonia and nitrites to 0ppm and nitrates to 20ppm and a ph of 7.0 you should be fine. Just keep them in a school of at least 6. Mine even school with my bloodfines and occassionaly my lamp eye/red eye tetras. I have my tank between 80 and 82f and their nose is a nice red color. If the nose goes pale then that's your indicator.
