If you look at MOST frozen foods they are no where near as nutritionally balanced as prepared flakes or pellets.
On a basic protein note not all fish demand high protein.
IMO freeze dried foods offer higher protein content(FD tubifex worms are aprox. 67% protein).
A quick check of all foods may leave many surprised.
I do feed frozen foods and that brand brine shrimp in particular.
They are fiber to clean my fish out IMO.
Again this is just another STRONG argument for a varied diet.
Meaning more then 3 types of frozen only or just flakes, different food TYPES.
FYI frozen mysis is around 10.7%.
Just got to get the fish used to them....
 
Yeah. I looked at the back of the frozen food packages a while ago for the first time and they really are garbage for the cost.

But that being said, I can't get my black ghost knife fish to eat anything else, so I feel stuck
