So I finally got rid of my pleco! I felt so bad having a 3.5 inch pleco in a 20 gallon long tank. Luckily I found someone with an indoor pond to adopt the pleco! So, now my tank consists of these fish:
1 male sailfin molly
5 female mollies
2 baby female mollies
4 cories
1 male betta (who gets along fine with the others)
1 female guppy that I always forget I have

So, I know mollies do best with some salt in their water. But would my betta and my cories be harmed by salt in their water? Is it worth it? Opinions? I'm not going to seperate the fish into different tanks.

From what I read, mollies had been tank bred so long that they don't need any salt .... although some would still swear by it. Personally, I wouldn't bother, esp. since they have been salt free all this time.
