Sand and

So I have sand and want to add pebbles on top is that ok to have it on top the sand

I have pebbles on top of mine, not completely covering but a fair few. The corys seem to enjoy digging around them

Can't see why not, even if they get burrows mite even help with water flow through sand somehow

The only thing I would see bad is that you may cover them when u stir up your sand.

It can happen but i just pick them up and put them back, seems to remove most of the sand and I quite like to see a bit of sand on the stones it looks more natural imo
