Sand bottom tank questions

If I already have kuhli loaches that burrow in the sand is it necessary to have a sand shifter like malaysian trumpet snails or is it just fine with the kuhlis moving the sand.

your fine with you loaches. But you can help by running your hand trough it once in a while.
