Sand pit for loaches?

It looks great! It did take my loaches a while to figure it out too. I expected them to just dive right in, so to speak, but they didnt. It was a good week or so before I actually saw them even nosing in the sand. Just give it time, they will find it and start playing with it

I changed out a third of my gravel with sand using a PVC pipe and it worked fantastic!!! Little to no sandy water but I went very slow. Plan to do another third of the tank in a couple days. I love the look and my loaches already love it.
