With the addition of the otos, my 40 gallon finally became perfect..just as I was readying to switch to a powerful hob and sand.

It looks like a cup of lipton, is crystal in clarity (hue is dif than clear) and the readings are velly velly niiice.

But what if it overbalances before the new tanks arrive? Ack!!
I can't decide!!
edit: Should have titled it Perfect tank water with current setup.....

perfect water is oftentimes stale water...which means it isnt perfect anymore.

Heh...menagerie remebers what I was up to got the gist....

I am a water change freak compared to most...
On this particular tank I change 2- 50% and 2- 15% a week.
one half has no plate adn is planted
what I as contemplating was tearing down the tank to change the filtration method and substrate becuase it useed to be a problem tank with algae and diatoms. It is grossly overstocked as far as future adult sizes go and awaiting a new custom dimension 177 to be assembled and shipped. It is the largest tank I have ever used a UGF with personally.
I usually keep dutch tanks.
heh....
"should I change my water if the readings are zero?"..heha
Not THAAT..
