schooling

I have 6 Zebra danios and the seem to likle scattering and some of them are alone from time to time

My danios only school when I first put them in or they get scared to death from my goldies breeding habits lol. Otherwise they just kinda do their own thing.

My cardinal Tetras on the other hand, are for ever schooling.

They will form loose groups, Fish mostly school tight6ly when there is a threat for protection, no threat no school. They have better things to do, like look for food.

5-6 is a good number for any schooling fish IME.

Guppies aren't schooling fish, but you have plenty of room for them.
