sexing silver dollars.

Hello all. I own 3 silver dollars, and i need help sexing them,2 have sharp bottom fins, and ones rounded..

I think the ones with red on the anal fins are males. But do some research to make sure.

Silver Dollars are not the easiest fish to sex, but the are small differences. The anal fin in males is longer than females, and generally is red on the leading edge. This is easier to see if you have males and females in a tank together.

Female is larger and the male will usually have some black markings on both sides of it's body(usually near the gills). They mate in higher temps. 80 - 84 degrees.
