I'm wondering about getting rid of the shadows in a high light tank. I am thinking about putting some of the lights towards the front of the canopy and aiming them a little towards the back.

Has any one tried this sort of thing?

I'm sure the plants won't care too much, but I'm hoping the camera will like it. It seems hard on a planted tank to get the exposure right. Some parts will be over-exposed at the same time that other parts are under-exposed. I'm hoping that "front lighting" will brighten up some of the underexpsed parts.
