Hi everyone! I’m currently in the process of creating a website that uses data from thousands of fish tanks to help new (and experienced) hobbyists build their tanks with ease.
However, to do this, I need to take notes on thousands of tanks, and I couldn’t think of a better place to find tanks than here! If you’d like to help (and show off your tank), please respond to this topic with the following:
- Your tank’s size & layout (ex. 20 gallon long)
- The brand and type of the filter, substrate, light, and heater in your tank (ex. Fluval Stratum)
- If you have live plants, a list of all of the live plants in your aquarium (ex. Java Fern)
- Any of the decorations in the tank (ex. Malaysian driftwood)
- The temperature and pH that you keep your tank at
- Any other products you use for your tank such as test kits, fish foods, CO2, added fertilizers, etc.
- A few photos of the tank as well as whether or not you would be okay with having these photos posted on the website
