I've noticed my Tiger Nerite Snails hide underneath my cocnut shell, and when flip it over they gravitate to the otherside. Is natural behavior?

Mine are pretty nocturnal, really only catch them zooming around t night...
Are they staying there all day?
They may not like high light

Hmmm, they might be just taking a sabbatical. My apples did that for a while. If you can, check them out after your light has been off a few hours if you can and see if they are mobile by then. Do you have any algae in your ta, or are you feeding them veggies or wafers? You mint be able to ntice them into moving with some food.

I put blanched zuchinni in there ever so often. There is some algae, but probably not enough to sate there appitite. But I will watch out for them tonight. Thank you for your input! :)

my zebra migrated to inside my whisper filter and was in there for 2-3 days before i decided i would like to look at him. He was living the life in there. Dark and all the fish poop and old fish flakes a snail could eat.
