Silvertip Tetra Question

Yesterday I picked up a school of silvertip tetras for my tank. I was planning on adding some Lemon Tetras with them but I read that since the Silvertips are aggressive they shouldn't be kept with smaller tetras. Is this true?

I have 3 Silvertips in my 35 gallon tank with other community fish. They are chasing down all my other fish and soon have to go. I would not recommend.

Disclaimer! I've never kept Silvertips, but Lemons are pretty big Tetras. Maybe they won't be so easily bullied?

I have silver tips with my bloodfin tetras and they get along just fine! They actually school together. You could always try it out, but remember, each fish has it's own personality and will react differently with others...

I raised them together from babies so they've always been together...that probably helps!!
