I have two Singapore Shrimps, and i'm wondering which is male and female?

One is bigger and has a brown stripe straight through the back to its tail with minimal colors. Not as brown as the other one. The other is smaller and has a lot more brown stripes going vertical and horizontal. It is a lot darker brown than the other one. I don't know how to describe it.

But the size maybe because of the age difference?

Are they male and female?

If not what is the gender? and how do I differentiate them?

Thanks in advance. :D

The easiest way to tell the difference between genders of these shrimp is to look at the first pair of legs. The male will have one MUCH heavier/thicker leg (or pair of them) than the female.

im not really sure but i saw on this site females have holes or something at the base of the legs (where the legs meet the body) i couldnt see well because it wasnt in color
